“Lego Masters” is a reality TV competition series that’s based on the British series of the same name and streaming now on Fox TV and Hulu. Will Arnett is the host and executive producer; he’s also the voice of the Lego minifigure Batman in all of the Lego Movies. The television series premiered on Fox in February 2020.
Each episode features teams building Lego projects. There are guidelines set for each challenge, and the ‘Lego Masters’ manage the teams and offer suggestions. The Lego Masters are expert ‘Brickmasters’ and sometimes current LEGO Company employees who can bring imagination, design, and creativity to the forefront when studying the Lego designs as they are created. Amy Corbett is a Senior Design Manager employed by LEGO, and Jamie Berard is the Creative Lead for LEGO Architecture and Ideas. Corbett and Berard both work on developing new LEGO products. They also serve as judges on the show, evaluating the teams’ LEGO builds and along with helping to decide who wins the competition and why.
I recently traveled to Billund, Denmark, where the Lego bricks are created, and visited the Legoland museum. Of all my travels, the museum is a hidden gem. I was amazed by all of the large Lego statues and designs. Having been a former teacher, I always appreciate creativity, and Legoland is set up for kids and parents to create their own designs. As you can imagine, I was thrilled to begin watching Will Arnett’s “Lego Masters Series” and I am hooked! The teams feature problem-solving, original, and interesting ideas, making the show very engaging.
“Lego Masters” is streaming now on Fox TV and Hulu. I’d say check it out, it’s a great family show.
The fifth season of the American reality competition television series Lego Masters premiered on May 19, 2025 and concluded on July 28, 2025. The season was won by siblings Ian & Sage, with brothers Ben & Michael finishing second, and coach & band director Anthony & Joe placing third.
Update: Nick Cannon joins the show for its upcoming sixth season, replacing former host Will Arnett. Filming for the new season’s auditions was held in late June 2025, at Legoland in California.
